While working on my package of "Working Age Adults in Florida" I learned a lot about the programs that Tallahassee has to offer for young professionals in the job market. Access Tallahassee for instance offers countless opportunities such as speed networking, bussiness seminars, and power lunches. It's clear that more working age adults are migrating to Florida in hopes of finding employment but holding on to a job seems to be a constant stuggle.
With a higher rate of seniors living in Florida only for retirement, the job market is experiencing a change and the working class is eager to be discovered. With programs like Access Tallahassee companies get the chance to build genuine relationships.
Overall, working on this package provided me with a lot of useful knowledge for when I graduate. There is a large talent pool to choose from and business owners seek out the best workers. You can't wait for employers to find you, you have to go after what you want and use the resources available.
