Bio


Christian Allen is an alumnus of  Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL from the School of Journalism and Graphic Communications program. He is a first generation college student from the City of Brotherly Love formerly known as Philadelphia, PA. Christian's major was Broadcast Journalism with a concentration in Photography.

During his senior year, he served as a student news reporter for FAMU News20 at Five, for the daily live Monday newscast. Christian shot and edited all of his own packages as a reporter in the field. He was a staff photographer and became a staff writer for the school newspaper, The FAMUAN.

Christian was also a photographer for the school magazine entitled JOURNEY and has served as anchor and producer for daily AP news broadcasts on WANM 90.5 the FLAVA station.

Over the years, Christian has gained the knowledge useful to become a successful multimedia journalist. In the beginning of 2012, he established his own freelance production company called, "Isolated Time: Photography & Film".

Christian is most satisfied with his ability to research, write, shoot, edit, anchor, publish and produce news, sports and lifestyles stories. He believes that experience is life's best teacher and that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

He is currently working at WTXL/ABC27 News as a staff photographer at the local station in Tallahassee, FL. Christian has aspirations of leaving his mark in the field of journalism, while allowing his drive and eagerness to story-tell through pictures, video and images that will excel him to various heights of success.
